Webster describes a family farm as: "a farm that is owned and operated by a family, especially one that has been handed down from one generation to another." While the land of the Wilson Dairy Farm was not handed down, the business was. Haley continues to farm the land at the new farm location and provide straw and hay products to customers. (Note: Hay is typically green in color and has a high nutritional value which means hay is used as feed for goats, sheep, rabbits, cows, horses and other animals that eat forages. Straw can be used as seats at an event, bedding for your dogs, sheep, etc., it can be used in a dirt area to help grow grass and more!
